19th century rectangular talisman (also known as a 'chaimali') with a chain to hang from the neck. It is made of copper alloy and has a drawer opening on the top side to also work as a case. It is decorated with floral designs, some of which project to the front in strong relief. Due to its non-figurative decoration, it is speculated that it may have belonged to a Muslim.
